Mina Starsiak — Price Undisclosed, Indianapolis

A native of Indianapolis, Mina Starsiak made up one half of the mother-daughter duo whose claim to fame was HGTV’s Good Bones. Before being offered her own house renovation program together with her mom, Starsiak first realized her passion for this field when she purchased her first real estate property. In fact, back then, her mom was still working her day job as a defense attorney!

After working on revamping this property, Mina and her mom Karen E. Laine started their home renovation company called Two Chicks and A Hammer. For seven years, they worked in the business until they received an offer from a talent scout. Their lives have never been the same since.

Because their business centers on renovating homes in Indianapolis, it made sense to Mina to find a forever home in her hometown to be close to work. With southern-style touches in the house’s exterior, Mina’s property in the Fountain Square area is a sight to behold. Standing at three stories tall and covering 2900 square feet, the house features a sizable master bedroom with a lot of closet space, both a home office and gym, and a cute nursery for her son. She’ll be making a lot of great memories in this house with her husband Steve Hawk, who is a competitive eater, and their son Jack.
