The host of History Channel’s hit reality show “American Pickers” is known to be very fond of gathering antiques and making them more valuable. That’s why it’s no surprise he bought a 5,100-square-foot house in Leiper’s Fork, Tennessee, then renovated it from one corner to the next. Wolfe’s inflated bank account enabled him to repaint the whole house, decorate the wide staircases and embellish four porches with his sensible touch. The picker made sure antiquities will encapsulate the house, for example: the 150-year-old front door once belonged to a different house in Connecticut.
