Shelley Fabares – January 19, 1944
Many of you might not know who Shelley Fabares is. Having initiated her acting career in the 40s, she is still active in the Hollywood circuit and continues to amaze us with her energy. She gained fame and popularity with her portrayal of Mary Stone in The Donna Reed Show and Christine Armstrong in Coach, a popular sitcom. She also starred opposite the legendary Elvis Presley in three of his films.
Her 1962 recording of Johnny Angel climbed to the top of the Billboard Hot 100 chart. Her talent in acting was certainly in her blood, as her aunt is the actress Nanette Fabray. At the age of 76, Fabares looks exquisite, with the radiance and smooth complexion of one decades younger than her! Fabares is married to Mike Farrell, and is stepmother to his two children.
