Lynn Hamilton – April 25, 1930
The African-American actress initiated her acting career in Shadows, a film by John Cassavetes and went on to earn fame as Donna Harris in Sanford and Son, a popular sitcom. Born in Mississippi, Hamilton is now 88 years old but is still a live wire.
She was seen in a number of television shows such as Port Charles, Roots: The Next Generations, The Golden Girls, and Dangerous Women. She lost her husband, Frank Jenkins, in 2014 and we really hope she takes good care of herself, so that we can admire her for many years to come.
