These Beloved Stars of Hollywood’s Golden Age Are Still Alive And Enjoying Life In Retirement

June Lockhart — 1925

June Lockhart is the daughter of late Canadian actor Gene Lockhart. She started out in 1938 and gained prominence with films such as Lost in Space and Lassie and garnered fame with her portrayal of Dr. Janet Craig in Petticoat Junction, a CBS sitcom. Before deciding to retire in 2016, June had already made a mark with various projects in theater, television shows, and films.  She had also won the Emmy Award twice and a Tony Award.

Lockhart had been involved in multiple campaigns of Hubert Humphrey, Adlai Stevenson, John Kennedy, and Harry Truman. It’s not easy to keep up strong and healthy at 95, but we just want her to be in the pink of her health and hope that her diet and nutrition are up to the mark. Maybe a light workout deemed fit for her age and if planned by a professional trainer can work wonders, too.
