When Tim arrived, he swiftly set up the ladder against the tree. It wobbled slightly as he climbed, but his curiosity outweighed his caution. Normally, the noise would have sent the birds flying, but this time, the nest remained eerily quiet. As he reached the top, he peered inside and saw a large hole with something unusual.
Shocked, he nearly lost his balance. “What is going on here?” he muttered, his mind racing with possibilities. The strange discovery left him on edge. Grabbing his phone, Tim called the police, his concern morphing into a determined need to find out what was happening.
