The American actor, who is also an acclaimed singer and a director, started off his career with a number of appearances on television during the early 1990s. The Thirty Seconds To Mars lead vocalist got his first big break in Hollywood in 1998 when he was cast in The Thin Red Line.
Leto took a brief break in the 2000s from his film career and returned to the big screen with the role of a drug addict in Dallas Buyer’s Club. Leto wanted to be as real as possible and even followed a strict weight loss program, eventually losing 30 pounds. Ηis dedication and acting chops earned him an Academy Award.
