The 40-year-old grabbed the spotlight as a child actress when she got to play the role of Rudy Huxtable in The Cosby Show, the sitcom on NBC. The show, which ran from 1984 to 1992, made her a favorite among American households. She shot to fame and popularity as Miranda Lucas-Payne in Tyler Perry’s House of Payne, the comedy-drama on TBS.
Banking on a prosperous career, Knight has a massive fortune under her belt. The Emmy Award nominee didn’t have a successful marriage, though, as she and her husband Ed Hartwell went separate ways just after two years of tying the knot with each other. Knight occupies the 27th position in the list of 100 greatest kid stars ever. She still has an attractive demeanor she is famous for!
