These Beloved Stars of Hollywood’s Golden Age Are Still Alive And Enjoying Life In Retirement

Jamie Farr – 1934

Jamie Farr, a popular actor was supposed to be part of the TV series M*A*S*H, and thanks to his great talents, he cemented his place in the show as a cast member instead, as he aced the popular character of Maxwell Q. Klinger.

He has battled with some health issues in the past such as severe rheumatoid arthritis. But like a true champion, Farr is still at it and is staying active on the 70 mm screen since 1955. And he does not show any signs of slowing down and he still plans to work and not think of retirement just yet.

Jamie Farr recently was seen on the red carpet at the Daytime Emmy Awards in California along with co-star Loretta Swit, 80, offering M*A*S*H fans a lovely nostalgia-filled throwback moment. We hope to see more of his charismatic appearance on the screen.
