These Beloved Stars of Hollywood’s Golden Age Are Still Alive And Enjoying Life In Retirement

Ann Margret – 1941

Ann-Margret, famously and coyly nicknamed, “The Female Version of Elvis” is an American actress & singer most popular for her roles in the iconic movies, Bye Bye Birdie, Viva Las Vegas & much much more.

The nickname originally took when audiences heard the sounds of her voice, comparing the soft and sultry sound to that none other than Elvis, the King of Rock himself. However, she didn’t need the nickname to truly succeed as after five decades in show business she won five Golden Globe Awards! And let’s not forget that she was also nominated for two Academy Awards, two Grammy Awards, and over six Emmy Awards! At 77, Ann Margret hasn’t even thought about retirement yet as she’s still featured in some popular shows of today!
