At first glance, this picture may seem ordinary, but there is something wrong upon closer inspection. The woman in the picture is not following the rules at the gas station; her car is on! This is an unsafe practice as it could lead to a fire breaking out.
If a fire were to start, it could quickly spread to the underground gasoline tanks supplying the station with fuel. This situation is even worse than mistakenly putting the gas nozzle in the wrong hole or spilling gasoline on the floor. It puts many people’s lives at risk, so it is essential to turn off the engine when filling up the tank at the gas station.
