What’s A Docking Plank, Anyway?
It may surprise some folks, but even if a boat or yacht is docked at a port, it can still be a few feet away from the pier. A gangway or plank is typically used to cross the gap safely. But who would have ever thought to use a sedan as a plank?
The driver, this smiling woman in the forefront, might have misjudged the end of the pier. She may have accidentally stepped on the accelerator instead of the brake, resulting in a hard crash into the boat. One wonders how she exited her car without falling into the water below. It must have been quite the challenge!
