Calm In The Chaos
This photograph tells a story without uttering a single word. A large jeep has been flipped onto its side and is in a state of disrepair, while two other vehicles have been completely wrecked and have their front ends severely damaged.
Even so, the two girls in the picture seem unharmed. Their airbags have been deployed, safeguarding them from the full brunt of the crash. Front airbags, one of the essential safety innovations of recent decades, have been mandated in all passenger vehicles since 1999. Interestingly, the two gals do not seem too concerned as they are calmly walking away from the scene.
