This experience may not have happened to you, but there may come a time when you must rush to a meeting or somewhere else and not have time to stop for gas. If you decide to stop, please return the nozzle to its original place. However, you can now own a useless free gas nozzle if you forget to do that.
Someone could have also seen the high gas prices and decided to take off in their car, not wanting to pay for the gasoline. This is unfortunate because we should always pay for the fuel we use no matter what.
