Hockey players tend to make huge amounts of money, but Nicklas took his earnings to a whole different level as he’s been the top earning player in the NHL for two different years! This man is now in retirement and is 49 years of age. He played 20 seasons of hockey, and we’d say he’s more than earned his rest because he had really taken the Detroit Red Wings to the next level which is quite the accomplishment, seeing that he was their captain.
