Maggie Smith has had the honor of enjoying a career spanning across nearly seven decades already, and she has starred in over 50 movies which, in itself, is an achievement quite separate from her actual impressive performances. Maggie is one of Britain’s most highly acclaimed performers, and she was even honored with Damehood back in 1990.
She’s well recognized for her acting roles in Evil Under the Sun, Gosford Park, Love and Pain and the Whole Damn Thing, and let’s not forget the Harry Potter franchise! Her grand mansion, formerly inhabited by Lady Violet, sold for about £4.8 million, and that’s probably not including the home’s upkeep expenses!
