Emmylou didn’t have an easy time reaching the position that she enjoys these days. While she was initially enrolled in a music school, she chose to leave it and instead test herself in New York, where she had to scrape a living singing in coffee shops. However, she was extremely hard working and displayed talent which eventually led to her getting her first record.
She now lives in Nashville, and her love for animals has caused her to turn her residence into a shelter for animals as well.
