The former NBA star stands at 7’6” and was the tallest active basketball player during his time. Yao came across Ye Li when he was all of 17, and though he was not in her good books at first, Yao won her heart eventually, and their relationship came out in the open when the duo was spotted together at the closing ceremony of the 2004 Olympics. Ye got hitched to Yao in 2007, and their wedding ceremony was a private one, attended by their friends and family members.
