When she starred in Little House on the Prairie, her first television series, Melissa was only 11 years old and her portrayal of Mary Ingalls received much love and appreciation. She received an Emmy when she played Alex on the ABC series, Which Mother is Mine?. She wrote The Way I See It – A Look Back at My Life on Little House , her autobiography, and released it in 2010. Melissa is happily married to Michael Sloan and they have been married for over 30 years. The 55-year-old actress hasn’t lost much of her charm and we attribute that to the diet and nutrition she follows religiously.
