Brigitte Bardot – Est. $5.65 Million, Peymeinade

The 1950s and 60s saw the French actor and singer in her unabashed, bold and uninhibited form. Despite her successful career, she hung up her boots to retire in 1973. While her fans were heartbroken, they continue to cherish her as a timeless cultural icon even to this day! Brigitte made news when she put her vacation home for sale for a whopping $5.65 million!

The property is within walking distance from the Peymeinade village. The house in the hills overlooks the French Riviera. She found tranquility in her “stone-lined residence” during the 20s when she was going through severe turmoil in her private life.

Some of the notable features of the house include the formal living room that retained the original fireplace of Louis XIV, stone and tiled floors, and rough-hews beams formed highlights. Besides that, it has 14 bedrooms scattered along 6500 square feet of the living space. What prompted her to sell off is unknown. But we are hoping that she took the suggestion of her financial advisor before calling in a realtor.
