Leonardo DiCaprio – $1.75 Million, Belize

Leonardo DiCaprio didn’t want to limit himself when it comes to real estate property, so he bought a whole island instead. The renowned environmentalist bought an isle named Belize’s Blackadore Cave in 2005. Leo plans on turning his 104-acre property into an opulent, environment-friendly resort, and has actually invested loads of money to do it. This comes as no surprise since DiCaprio is known for his strong principles of environmental awareness. The vision is for it to be complete with infinity pools, sprawling villas and breath-taking sunset views. This is an island that has struggled with overfishing, deforestation and erosion, so DiCaprio’s efforts are to restore the island as well. The construction is almost over, and the plan was to build 36 homes and 36 villas, with all of them being built by natural materials and supported by solar panels. They are estimated to be sold at $5 million each.
