Whitaker, an American actor, lapped up the Screen Actors Guild Award, the BAFTA Award, the Golden Globe, and the Academy Award for his performance in the film. He has also rendered marvelous performances in other films like The Great Debaters, Rogue One: A Star Wars Story, and Black Panther.
Speaking about his properties, Whitaker, together with his better half and actress Keisha Nash Whitaker, laid their hands on the magnificent Hollywood compound for an approximate $1.5 million.
