Although originally listed for $30 million, Jackie Collins’ Beverly Hills home eventually got sold for $9 million less than her asking price. The stellar, award-winning novelist lived in the 21,784 square feet, 8-bedroom property before deciding to flip the home only one year before her death following a protracted battle with breast cancer. But if her novels were anything to go by, Collins was no average upscale lady. She seemed like she belonged in an alternate reality. The rooms of the home were proportioned for large scale entertaining, with the home featuring its own wet bar, library, chef’s island and a two-storey foyer fitted with light vestibules as well as skylights.
