Carson Palmer – $24.9 Million, Del Mar

Another athlete with a penchant for buying cool mansions only to flip them over is the Arizona Cardinals’ quarterback, Carson Palmer. Case in point, Palma’s $24.9-million 8,000-square-foot mansion which he purchased in 2010 at $4.4 million, probably without the home insurance costs excluded. He opted to renovate it to turn it into a palatial three-story mansion with six bedrooms, an infinity pool, and a wet bar. It sounds like a sportsman’s dream come true.

Carson might have taken retirement from the National Football League, but he still remains a popular figure. He enjoyed 15 seasons at the NFL while donning the jerseys of Arizona Cardinals, Oakland Raiders, and Cincinnati Bengals. Carson, during his football career, made his way to the Pro Bowl thrice. Aside from that, he was honored with an Orange Bowl MVP title in the year 2003.
