Connie Stevens — 1938

Connie Stevens is a screenwriter, actress, producer, director, singer, editor, and cinematographer who needs no introduction. She made her debut in the 1950s and since then been a household name. One might recognize Connie Stevens from the ‘60s TV series called Hawaiian Eye, but her career has reached much greater lengths. She was able to play roles in films like Grease 2 and in series like Starting from Scratch in the late ‘80s.

Connie has always been able to showcase her talent in the performing arts—be that as an actress, as a singer, or as a dancer. She has also released a number of albums and singles, with one of the most famous ones being Sixteen Reasons.

Connie Stevens may be in her 80s right now, but that hasn’t stopped her from acting. She’s part of the 2019 movie By the Rivers of Babylon, which went on to increase her net worth to $50 million. If she were to ever retire, we are sure she can afford all the luxuries in the world.

Thelma Barlow – 1929

The television actress rose to fame with her performance as Mavis Wilton in Coronation Street, the soap opera on ITV. She also stole hearts with her role as Dolly Bellfield in the Dinnerladies, a much popular sitcom. Besides that, she was also in the sci-fi show, Doctor Who. Barlow attended Huddersfield Technical College to gain knowledge in typing and shorthand at the inception of her career and also joined the amateur dramatics group.

She soon started playing important roles in various theatre productions and attained huge fame and popularity in the 70s decade. Thelma has been active in the circuit since the year 1967. However, now that she is in her 90s, she has cut down on the number of projects she signs.

But, the good news is that she hasn’t yet taken retirement. Thelma walked down the aisle with Graham Barlow from 1956 to 1983 and is the mother of two. We hope Where the Heart Is star is taking good care of herself and continues to have a healthy and happy life!
