These Beloved Stars of Hollywood’s Golden Age Are Still Alive And Enjoying Life In Retirement
Robert Clary — 1926
The popular French-American singer and actor was the only member of his family to pull through the Holocaust. After his release, Robert’s popularity as a singer spread all over Europe and the United States as well.
He took his career on to the next level with Hogan’s Heroes on television and also penned down a memoir, From the Holocaust to Hogan’s Heroes: The Autobiography of Robert Clary.
Clary made up his mind to retire in 2001 and loves to spend his days taking photographs, touring cities, and painting. He has stayed away from rehab all his life. His ensemble of films comprises A New Kind of Life, Remembrance of Love, Thief of Damascus, and Ten Tall Men. Clary has also worked on television, appearing in The Bold and the Beautiful, The Young and the Restless, Fantasy Island, and Days of Our Lives, etc. The 94-year-old is hopefully, taking good care of his health.
