Driving during or after a storm is a terrible decision. It is always best to heed warnings from authorities to stay indoors and avoid going outside. Even a minuscule amount of water, such as three inches, is enough to flood a car, especially a smaller vehicle.

When driving on flooded roads, one can’t anticipate where the potholes or open utility holes will be. Knowing this makes us feel even more for this unfortunate woman who got her auto lodged in one. So remember that it is best to stay safe and remain indoors when a storm hits rather than risk your vehicle (and yourself!) to the elements.
