The pretty Maureen McCormick became the cynosure of all eyes with her portrayal of Marcia Brady in The Brady Bunch, an iconic ABC sitcom. However, after the show went off-air, Maureen’s acting career didn’t gain much ground, and she had to battle with severe depression.
She waged a lonely war against bulimia in her teens and was addicted to cocaine, too. Her husband, Michael, has stood beside her through thick and thin, and finally, Maureen has been able to leave her dark past behind. She is a happy woman now, and a weight loss has made her look all the more gorgeous!
Since the 2000s, she has appeared on many reality television series such as VH1’s Celebrity Fit Club, CMT’s Gone Country and the Australian version of I’m a Celebrity… Get Me Out of Here!, as well as making guest appearances on a wide range of television series. In 2008, McCormick also published her autobiography, Here’s the Story: Surviving Marcia Brady and Finding My True Voice, which made its way in The New York Times bestseller list.
