These Beloved Stars of Hollywood’s Golden Age Are Still Alive And Enjoying Life In Retirement
Victoria Principal — 1950
Dallas star Victoria Principal will always be popular for her portrayal of Pamela Barnes Ewing. Though she had wanted to study medicine in a community college, an accident changed her life completely. She decided to move to New York City instead of finishing her education, and the rest is history.
She made her mark as a promising newcomer in her debut film The Life and Time of Judge Roy Bean. But it was Dallas where she illustrated her true acting genius. She left Dallas in 1987 and started her own production company called Victoria Principal Productions. Through the production house, she produced some of the popular telefilms in the late 80s.
Not only that, but she also launched her own line of anti-aging skincare products named Principal Secret. She authored several books on the same subject, such as The Beauty Principal, The Diet Principal, Living Principal, including a New York Times bestseller, The Body Principal. So we have little doubt that the royalties from those books must have made her uber-rich. Now in her seventies, we are sure she doesn’t regret anything at all!
