James Caan – 1940
The American actor James Edmund Caan is famous for his role in Godfather, El Dorado, and The Rain People. He is a Golden Globe nominee. James was born on March 26, 1940, and he rose to fame after his association with Al Pacino.
Playing Al Pacino’s brother onscreen in a movie before they starred together in Godfather. Before he became famous, he was a football player at Michigan State University.
The Kiss Me Goodbye star also appears in Broadway shows before he became a popular leading man that made him rise to prominence. James eventually became a director. Though he had a temporary retirement from 1982-1987 due to depression from his sister’s death, he made a comeback in late 1987, making a lot of good movies both directing and in acting. Retirement plans are on his list, but not anytime soon.
