These Beloved Stars of Hollywood’s Golden Age Are Still Alive And Enjoying Life In Retirement
David Birney – 1939
Birney’s debut happened with the famous soap opera Love Is a Many Splendid Thing in 1967. That was the start of a successful journey for the charismatic personality that he is. He later starred in multiple theater productions. One of the most famous ones was Summertree, where he played the lead role. That got him the Theater World and Clarence Derwent Award in 1968.
He impressed his fans after the 1960s, where his career expanded and he managed to keep a balance in the world of TV, theater, and films with equal ease.
He often spends time with Michelle Roberge, his long-time partner and companion. The fact he’s in his 80s has little effect on how he acts to this day. Not that he tries to cover up signs of aging with anti-aging products, but we can still find his suave looks and unmatched poise on stage and silver screen intact.
