These Beloved Stars of Hollywood’s Golden Age Are Still Alive And Enjoying Life In retirement

Leonard Whiting – 1950

Leonard Whiting an English singer and actor of repute have essayed many a popular character on screens, but among the most famous roles played by him is his role in Romeo in the cinematic version of the popular Shakespearean play, Romeo and Juliet, 1968.

Olivia Hussey played Juliet to his Romeo and brought home a Golden Globe Award for his excellent portrayal. Forty-six years later, he teamed up with his former co-star Olivia again for Social Suicide, the 2015 film. The British movie is a dramatic romance psychological thriller and was once again based on Romeo and Juliet by William Shakespeare.

That role was his swansong as we have not seen him on the screen ever since. He is now leading the idyllic retirement life in London. Even years after his last portrayal on-screen his net worth shows no signs of diminishing and it stands at $9 million, not bad at all we say!
