Even though she was hailed as Hollywood’s brand new It Girl after her successful portrayal in Say Anything, she couldn’t quite garner the same amount of success in the later stages of her life. She walked down the aisle with Ben Lee, a popular singer, and songwriter, and shares a daughter with him. She is famous for her love for painting (she actually is a painter and sells her own works) and her affinity towards Buddhism. Skye’s film debut was with River’s Edge in 1986.
She went mainstream after starring in Say Anything in 1989. Skye gained popularity throughout the 90s and landed herself lucrative roles in films like Wayne’s World, Gas Food Lodging and One Night Stand. Skye is a multi-talented woman, having even authored a number of children’s books in addition to her entertainment career.
