Lynn Hamilton – April 25, 1930
The African-American actress initiated her acting career in Shadows, a film by John Cassavetes. She went on to earn fame as Donna Harris in Sanford and Son, a popular sitcom. She also appeared on The Waltons, a popular television series, as “Verdie”. Born in Mississippi, Hamilton is now 90 years old but is still a live wire. No doubt she has nurtured her healthy lifestyle very well.
She was seen in a number of television shows such as Port Charles, Roots: The Next Generations, The Golden Girls, and Dangerous Women. She lost her husband, Frank Jenkins, in 2014, and we really hope she takes good care of herself, so we can admire her for many years to come. Hamilton has, without a doubt, aged very well and we envy her youthful look in spite of being in her early nineties! We suspect that it all boils down to good genes, though!
