Mark Wahlberg wears many different hats. While half of the world knows him as an actor of substance, he is also a songwriter, a rapper, and even a director. Although Mark has come a long way since his early days as a hip-hop band member, he is still sometimes referred as Marky Mark, his stage name. Mark traded his early music career for acting perhaps in a bid to add more money to his bank, and established himself as a prolific actor. His film credits include but are not limited to The Departed, The Fighter, as well as the Transformers movies. However, many of his fans do not know that Mark has a checkered past as he was once a drug dealer. Due to his drug dependency, Mark had to check in drug & alcohol rehab centers a number of times. Thankfully, he has come out of the dark phase and is now leading a drug-free life.
