Rob Lowe has been dubbed as the greatest teen idol of the 1980s a number of times. After appearing in a few movies such as The Outsiders, Oxford Blues, and Square Dance, he took a backseat for a while due to a controversy, only to return to the small screen in the late 1990s. It was NBC drama The West Wing which marked his comeback to the show business. He has been married to Sheryl Lowe since 1991, and together, they have three kids. In 2008, Lowe had to file separate lawsuits against three of his former employees, but the lawsuits were dismissed in the following year as his attorney sought the dismissal. On the personal front, Lowe is a relatively happy family person with both Lowe and his wife never been compelled to file a divorce petition.
