Especially if you are not too skilled, adhesive tape can help you solve any problem. As a result, it can be difficult to determine where the tape has been removed when you peel it off. This applies in particular to the use of transparent packing tape. You should not fold the tape as this will create unnecessary knots and waste valuable tape.
But there is a simple solution to this problem. Reattach the band with a paper clip after each use. This way, if you decide to cut off part of it, you can easily find the beginning again. Use a paper clip to prevent the ribbon from getting tangled or drying out. What a weight!
