A joy in itself, buying a new coffee mug to drink hot tea or coffee at home is like choosing your favorite color or the most appealing pattern and then giving the mug a permanent place in the cupboard. Have you ever turned your coffee cup and looked at the floor? If so, you may have seen a small notch there. This notched area allows water to drain out of the bottom of the cup instead of collecting there, making it possible. As a result, the mug dries faster and lasts as long as possible. This is not a design flaw.
