Burns, the Canadian professional ice hockey defenceman, and his wife, Susan Holder, walked down the aisle in July 2009 and share three kids. Their bond has only gotten stronger over the years.
Burns and Susan have been married together for more than a decade and are enjoying a great relationship, spending their summers in Barrie, Ontario, and Lake Elmo, Minnesota. The couple is also a great animal enthusiast. In fact, their Saint Paul home is nicknamed Burns Zoo as the house has a collection of dogs, cats, and dozens of reptiles such as snakes.
Burns also owns and operates a ranch in Texas where he has several species of exotic animals, including Wildebeest, Fallow deer, and more. In fact, his fellow San Jose Sharks bought him antelopes for his 1000th game. Susan tends to their beloved pets when Burns is away playing for his various games. Clearly, they are equal partners in everything.
