These Beloved Stars of Hollywood’s Golden Age Are Still Alive And Enjoying Life In Retirement

Larry Storch — 1923

Lawrence Samuel Storch is a popular actor, comedian, and voice artist who made his debut in the entertainment world in 1939. Since then, he has been part of numerous movies and TV shows which made him a household name. Larry Storch couldn’t even complete school, let alone go to college, because of the Great Depression. He started his career at that time and began earning money as a stand-up comedian in New York City.

Later in his life, he started acting and appeared in guest roles in several small screen shows. However, his most famous role was that of Colonel Randolph Agarn in F Troop. He also earned a lot as a voice-over actor. After ensuring that he would never have to face bankruptcy, Storch went back on stage. He performed in Broadway productions and was highly praised for his acting skills. He had been working a lot less since 2013, but is not yet fully retired, too!
